Friends of Breakthrough
Our mission is to perform fundraising, advocacy and alumni activities that exclusively support the operations and growth of the Breakthrough Public Schools management organization and all its member schools.
Friends of Breakthrough Schools is a non-profit development and advocacy organization. Friends of Breakthrough is responsible for closing the gap in public funding needed to provide quality education to thousands of children in Cleveland each year, as well as working with community, business, and political leaders to build city-wide support for high-quality public school options for all children in Cleveland.

Each year, we host our annual golf tournament to support the scholars of Breakthrough Public Schools. Participation and generosity help raise essential funds that make quality education a reality for every child in Cleveland.

For Young Professionals
Emerging Leaders
Emerging Leaders group comprises local young professionals that work on behalf of the Friends of Breakthrough Schools Board of Directors. Group members are passionate advocates of Breakthrough Public Schools, whose mission is to promote and increase community involvement in the school network.
The group assists with school tours and many fun volunteering opportunities and hosts social and networking events. Group meetings are held quarterly in person.
